A couple of weeks ago I had the privilege of attending the Guru Purnima celebrations at the Art of Living Retreat Center on top of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Boone, North Carolina.
A few days prior to the celebrations, I had the honor of participating in a training program to facilitate and initiate people into the Sahaj Samadhi Meditation technique. The training was profound; I do not have words to describe it.

As it frequently happens with us, we tend to lose sight of our goal. The same goal towards which we start with great gusto and enthusiasm, suddenly it becomes blurred and sort of out-of-focus. When this happens, take two; Stop, drop everything, tune into yourself and check-in.
Dhundhla jaayen jo manzilein, Ek pal ko tu nazar jhuka
What happens when you check-in with yourself? You tap into the infinite source that is present within! All that we are looking for without is already present within! The connection to the infinite source is easy, look within!
Jhuk jaye sar jahan wahin, Milta hai rab ka raasta
You already have the power to change your destiny. Simply have this confidence, not as a concept but as a conviction, and move ahead! The infinite power is always with you!
Teri kismat tu badal de, Rakh himmat bas chal de, Tere saathi mere kadmon ke hain nishaan; Tu na jaane aas paas hai khuda
Just look and see how many times before you have just accepted roadblocks and given up on your goals. How many times you have treated blocks as destiny and just stopped following your dreams?
Khud pe daal tu nazar, Halaton se haar kar, Kahan chala re
Every time you feel like the roadblock is bigger than the goal, connect with yourself, tap into the infinite power and you will see that it is easy to paint the world in the color of your goals and dreams! When darkness sets, switch on the inner light and it will be a new dawn!
Tu khud tere khwabo ke rang mein, apne jahan ko bhi rang de, Ke chalta hoon tere sang main, Jab hoga andhera, Tab payega dar mere, Us dar pe phir hogi teri subah
All efforts tend get erased with time. This happens because we treat obstacles as impediments! Once you start treating impediments as gifts, totally embrace them and act from this space, such actions become permanent and ever lasting! This is a subtle shift that is made and this shift makes all the difference!

All the great masters have said the same thing, over and over! It is time we sat up, took notice, and listened! Let us learn techniques that silence the mind and let the wisdom flow through us in its purest form.
It is high time for this planet to experience wisdom! Let us all give Stillness an opportunity to show its power!
Stillness does speak; Are we listening?
