100 days of Physics of Pranayama

A virus brought the World to a standstill. Circa March 2020 is when worldwide activities started shutting down in an attempt to flatten the curve. Most activities moved into online space.

Physics of Pranayama (#physicsofpranayama) went online (Zoom) on March 20, 2020. The Excel day calculator shows that

June 28, 2020 was the 100th day.

The 100th day came at an opportune time: A customary annual break for Guru Purnima.

This year in his message for Guru Purnima, Guruji Sri Sri Ravi Shankar asked everyone to Review, Rededicate & Rejoice.

Review one’s journey, how far have we come in the past year.
Rededicate our commitment for self development for another one year.
Rejoice in gratefulness for all that we have been given in the past year.

So we did; Review of the Physics of Pranayama sessions’ impact (specifically for India audience). This is the bottom line:

We touched
1310 People across
182 Cities and generated
INR 6,38,032 for the Migrant Workers COVID-19 Relief Fund.

Bengaluru & Mumbai were in a close tie for first place! New Delhi edged out Pune while Ahmedabad which led from the front in the pre-COVID days slipped to fifth place!

In just 100 days, #physicsofpranayama Zoom’d into 182 cities across India!

#physicsofpranayama sessions are not FREE. These are donation based sessions with 100% of the funds donated directly to non-profit managed collection agencies.

The large majority of the donations were to the International Association for Human Values (IAHV) fund for Daily Wage Workers Relief. A small fraction of the donations were to the Gift A Smile program run by the Art of Living to provide holistic education to rural India community children.

Each donation receipt was tracked and verified: 100% check before allowing a participant onto a #physicsofpranayama session.
