The Diaphragm!!
Transcript:
Have you heard of the glymphatic system? The glymphatic system is a macromolecular waste management or waste-clearing system made up of these perivascular channels. And through these channels, soluble proteins and metabolites are flushed out of the central nervous system. It's a waste collection and disposal channel. And which muscle do you think drives this system, this flushing of the toxins from the central nervous system? It is the diaphragm. It's the diaphragm that drives the flushing through the glymphatic system. Pranayama is the way to start doing these breathing practices to strengthen and reuse the diaphragm, like it is designed to be used. My preferred method of doing pranayama is the three-stage pranayama technique that is taught through the Sky Breath Meditation offered by the Art of Living. That is what I do. You find your own pranayama technique to learn, but do it. Go learn some pranayama because, literally, the trash from your brain is going to get cleared by using the diaphragm.
