On the PATH
Transcript:
Hi, currently I'm in New York City, and here's the interesting thing. To get to New York City from the outside, let's say from Newark, New Jersey, you have to be on the PATH. That's what they call the train—PATH. You have to be on the PATH to get to the city. And the beautiful thing is you need a ticket to get on the PATH, but you don't need a ticket to get out of the station.
It's completely the opposite of the "Hotel California," where you can come in, but you can never leave. But on the PATH, you can always come in voluntarily with a ticket, and you can leave whenever you want, which is why you will notice in any spiritual journey, the spiritual practice which puts you on the path is never offered for free. There is always a ticket to come in, but the exit is always free. You're always okay to leave anytime you want, but you need a ticket to come in.
It's amazing how they named the PATH train to get to New York City the PATH. It is just fantastic.
See you. Bye.
