It's like starting with a googly ball. Okay, you have to define. So when something is necessary, it is necessary towards a certain goal. Nothing is necessary. Actually, nothing is necessary. This whole existence is just a random fluctuation which happened on the quantum scale 13.8 billion years ago. So nothing is necessary. So when you're asking this question, is marriage necessary? Towards what goal? You have to ask the correct question. So if you're on the session and you're the one who asked the question, write the full question in the chat. Is marriage necessary for blah, blah, blah. Then I can answer. But yeah, marriage is necessary at one level, not necessary at another level, depending on what you want to achieve with marriage. So clarify the question and we'll come back to it.

Yeah, okay. So this is a two-part answer. So firstly, regular anything does nothing. Because regular could be once every year. It is highly regular. But once every 365 days is regular. Once every month is also regular. Once every week is also regular. So regular does not mean anything. If the word is daily, if you meditate daily for twice a day, I mean two sessions of 20 minutes of Sahaj, every day, daily, yes, your decision making will improve. And it is because of, it is because of a subtle thing that happens during Sahaj. Sahaj is an impression cleaning meditation. So if you have taken sahaj, you know. If you have not taken sahaj, well, then you don't know. But if you have taken Sahaj and you forgot what happened in Sahaj, then come to the Sahaj refresher. We do a Sahaj refresher. Come to there. We will explain in great detail how Sahaj is working. But Sahaj is an impression cleaning meditation. When you do Sahaj, inner impressions that are in the subconscious, they get cleansed out. Because of the cleansing process of the impressions, the decision making is less distorted, which means it becomes clearer decision. Perception becomes correct. Bias goes away. So all this stuff helps with decision making, but the condition is to do Sahaj every day, not regularly, every day, daily, twice a day, 20 minutes in the morning, 20 minutes in the evening. Then you see magic will happen. Your decision making will be super clear.

0:13:49

Okay, how do you know it's not working? It is working. Why will it not work? It has the power of the Guru behind it. It's a Shaktipat. This is a Shaktipat. When the Guru gives you a Beej mantra, it is a transfer of energy. So when you're asking the question that is my mantra actually working, you are questioning the Shakti behind it. If you're questioning the Shakti behind it, then fine, go find somebody else who you believe that their Shaktipat is the one for you, then take the mantra from them. That is your decision. I'm not saying you have to stick with this path only. You can say, okay, this is a crap path, I don't want it. Go somewhere else. But that's your decision. But once you've decided that this Beej mantra is from this person who Shaktipat I believe in, then that's it. You take the mantra and it will do its job because it is coming with the Shakti.

And you will not know that it's working yourself. Others will tell you that it's working. They will see the subtle changes in your behavior and they'll say wait a minute. तु पहले ऐसे नहीं था। Others will notice the change in you before you notice the change in yourself. This is the trick of Sahaj.

0:15:32

Yeah so what? Thoughts are part of Sahaj. Who told you that thoughts are not part of Sahaj? Come on the Sahaj refresher. I'll explain to you in excruciating detail how thoughts are part of Sahaj and also I will tell you methods to diagnose your meditation. So if your meditation is becoming lethargic then there is a remedy for it. If it is becoming too many connected thoughts happening during Sahaj there is a remedy for that also. So come on the refresher. Come on the Sahaj refresher and we will address all this stuff in excruciating detail. But thoughts are part of meditation. Don't worry about thoughts.

Yeah there is a massive problem with the G's. I've been saying it for so many years. The higher the G's the bigger the problem is. So what do you have to do? You have to listen to Narad. What does Narad say? Narad says when you perceive a conflict that is disturbing your let's say स्थिरता or settledness or love or whatever. It's only when you perceive a conflict that these things get disturbed. So when you are getting disturbed you are perceiving a conflict somewhere. Narad's instruction is ignore it. Ignore the conflict and go ahead and do what you have to do. Don't worry about the G's. The people who talk the most do the least. Take it from me. I am telling you. Talk less, do more. Make them irrelevant. Make them irrelevant. That's the best way to shut them up. Just do such awesome work that they will be like ashamed. What the heck. So don't worry about the G's. I know this conflict is there. It's all a game. You have to just play the game. You know you cannot complain. You see today's cricket match in Perth. Bouncy wicket. You cannot say wicket is bouncy. Wicket is bouncy for both people. It's not like that only for India team wicket is bouncy. For South Africa also wicket was bouncy. But they still won. Or they will win eventually. You have to play the game. It's just a game. But yeah I know it's a big issue. Be honest. Don't compromise your honesty, your integrity. Don't fit into the mold because then you'll be another G. You'll be part of the problem not a solution.

Today's generation is looking for coolness. They are the Instagram, TikTok people. It has to be cool. You cannot sit in some dhoti and some blah blah blah chants. But you can make it cool. You can make this also very cool. So here's how I explain. Let's say you're doing a yajna. You're doing some fire, you're putting some stuff in the fire, etc. Here's how I explain it to people, especially the young ones. I say, think about it this way: where does everything start from? Every action starts from where? It starts from a thought. No action starts without a thought—it has to come as a thought; only then will the action happen, correct? So it starts from the subtle and manifests as an action in the gross, correct? There is something subtler than thoughts also—the ether, air, all that. No space is much subtler than thoughts. Thoughts can be measured on a computer screen; you can put an oscilloscope on your head, and you'll see thoughts, but you cannot measure ether or space. So there is something that is subtler than thoughts, right?

In Ayurveda, and it doesn't need to be Ayurveda, in the scriptures, there are these dhatus, the elements. The grossest element is earth, then water, then fire, then air, and then ether, in increasing levels of subtlety. So the grossest is earth, and the subtlest is ether. There is one element that connects the gross to the subtle. That element is fire. Fire is what connects the earth and water to the air and space, air and ether. This is why fire is lit in the yagya because the fire is the means of uploading whatever you offer—it uploads to the space or ether, and whatever is in the space, it downloads it. This is the mechanism of the fire. This is so cool, dude. Like, come on, you can actually measure this stuff. You take water, keep it next to the yagya, and you chant a certain type of mantras and offer a certain set of ingredients to the fire. The molecular structure of that water is different. You can measure this thing. This is so cool. When you explain it like this, who is not going to sit for yagya, dude? It's the coolest thing ever. You have to make it cool for them. For that, you have to understand yourself what the heck you're doing. You don't understand what you're doing, how can you make it cool for others? And if I tell you this, if I tell your kids this thing, will they not be like, "Wow, fifth!" Oh yeah, that's it. They will sit for the next yagya, next 50, they will sit.

̌Learning more about green tea, so this is a Wikipedia question: what kind of soil it needs, what kind of moisture, atmospheric conditions. This is a come on, you cannot ask me Google questions. What the heck, go google it.

0:22:57

Okay, so what happens in yawning? There is an accumulation of... okay, so if you understand the metabolic process, oxygen is used with glucose in the mitochondria of the cell to make the energy molecule called ATP. If you have listened to the Physics of Pranayama, I explained this there. Okay, in the process of making ATP, two moles of CO2 are excluded from the cycle, from the Krebs cycle. Those moles of CO2 have to be expelled from the body somewhere, right? Usually, they go out in the breath, but sometimes the exchanges are not happening good enough, right? So when you're really tired, there's a lot of waste or CO2 that is generated, and it's not being expelled enough. So the process of yawning is the way of the body to expel that extra CO2 necessary, which is not happening. That is why the yawn happens. A yawn never happens when you're alert and have a lot of energy. A yawn only happens when you're tired, which is why the accumulation of toxins in the body has to be purged, which is why a yawn happens.

Now, burping is a different phenomenon. If you look at the structure of the stomach, the food pipe comes in and interfaces with the stomach, and there is a one-way valve on it, okay? So that valve only opens this way normally, but sometimes what happens when you either eat too fast, or you eat foods that are gassy, or the food stays in the stomach longer than necessary, it will start fermenting there. Normally, fermentation doesn't happen in the stomach. Fermentation happens only in the gut. So if any of these three happens, there is an excess volume that builds up in the stomach lining, and the stomach will accommodate it till some, it's a little bit of flexible. So the stomach accommodates it till some extent, but after that it cannot accommodate. So it releases that valve and that's how the burp happens. That burp happens because of either you ate too fast, or whatever, the foods are a little bit gassy, or the rate at which the food goes out of your stomach is slower than necessary. In these cases, burps will happen. So this is why babies need to be burped, because their system is not developed enough for the food to be passed from the stomach downwards, which is why you need to burp them, because their system is still developing. So burping is done specifically for babies, but for adults, this is the reason, so that's how burping happens.

I'll tell you one thing. If your life in your workplace is not something that wows somebody, nobody is going to listen to what you have to say. That's it. It's not going to work. Your actions should speak louder than words. You need to be, not need to be, but if you are doing the practices that you claim are so efficiency enhancing and clarity of thinking, show it in your workplace. If the others don't see it, why will they believe you? Which is why your kids are not listening to you, because you're behaving like a lunatic in front of them, and you're saying, okay, do kriya. Why the heck will they do kriya? You're behaving like a loser yourself. Who is going to listen to you? Think about it. So first practice what the technique is teaching you and see how efficiently you are at work. And then people will automatically come and ask you, what are you doing? I want to do the same thing you are doing. That's it. Then you don't even have to talk about it. They will ask you.

0:28:3

Oh man! Don't abuse chai. नशा शराब में होता तो नाचती बोटल। See, chai gives energy because it's not nothing in the chai. Chai is simply a medium for some five or six people to sit around and talk. It's a nimitta. You understand the word nimitta? It's a mechanism. You make chai. Five people will come, sit around and talk. And this is what is energizing. People share stories. People share their experiences. You learn from the conversation. It energizes you. People complain. People vent. Vent means what? You're carrying a burden. You drop it there with the cup of chai. You drop it. This is also okay. Like we used to do in IIT. We didn't have that much money.  So, we could not even afford a whole cup of chai. We would do cutting chai. Half of a small glass of chai. Cutting chai. We have learned so much from the cutting chai sessions. From the seniors they will tell us, Oh, you know, in Physics 3, if you get this prof, you'll have this kind of questions. All this knowledge does not come without a cup of chai. The chai is what brings out all this information from the seniors. And when we were seniors, then the juniors would come. We would tell them, our learnings. So, when new people come, tell them, don't waste time buying a brand new bicycle because the public will steal it. So, buy the cheapest, dirtiest bicycle you can. So, nobody will even touch it. This knowledge only comes in a cutting chai session.

First time you see the freshies who come, they will wear all these shoes and they will go to the library in shoes. The librarian knows that you are a freshie. Why? Because he looks at your feet, you are wearing shoes. You are obviously a fresher. I told him to wear bathroom slippers and go. He won't even ask you for your I-card. They will just let you go in because they know you are a veteran guy. You have been there for a long time. This knowledge cannot come without cutting chai. And it's energizing. So chai is a medium. Chai is a medium for discussion. Which is why it is energizing.

0:30:40

Yeah, sure. Who said? In moderation. I mean, don't eat like 5 kilos of onion every day. In moderation, put some onion in upma. How can you make upma without onion? Come on. How can you have chai without sugar? If you want to drink it, drink it properly. मुछे हो तो नथूलाल जैसी हो, वरना ना हो। You are doing sadhana. Sometimes your energy level goes so high that you need grounding food. Onion and garlic are grounding foods. If it was so bad for you, Ayurveda would have told you don't eat it. Ayurveda never says don't eat onion and garlic. So who told you that sadhaks cannot eat onion and garlic? Drop it. Eat in moderation.

Alcohol has a very specific effect on the brain. Alcohol is one of the functions of alcohol. It dulls the faculty of restraint. The faculty of restraint is dulled by alcohol. The restraint is still there. It just makes a covering on it so that the restraint molecule does not enter the brain. So it's an artificial state. So people have a glass in their hand and they're talking shop etc. You're part of the crowd. The way I do it is I go to the bartender and I say give me sweet lime soda or something. It's a clear drink. Nobody understands what it is. It could be totally gin and tonic. You would not even know the difference. So I have that glass in my hand. It doesn't even have to be sparkling. It could be still water if you don't want to do sparkling. And I ask him to put a slice of lime on top because gin and tonic has a slice of lime on top. So everybody thinks that I thought you're not going to drink. I said yeah yeah I'm drinking water. You blend in now. You have a glass in the hand. You totally blend in. What's the problem? You have to play smart. So that's what you tell him.

0:34:40

Yeah, so if he's an oncologist, he made an informed decision about himself. Because I'll tell you, I read a book by who was the Surgeon General, the Indian guy. He was a Surgeon General for one of the US Presidents. Anyway, so I read a book by him and he made a powerful point. He says medicine does not necessarily improve the quality of your life. In fact, it does not improve the quality of your life, it just improves the duration. And he made a case of two people. His mother-in-law, who was in India, aging woman, and his father, who was in the United States, aging guy. He made a comparison of these two people's lives.

So the father in India, I mean, in the United States, he had the top of the line health care, and he was in and out of hospitals and managed care, all this stuff. And the mother-in-law in India was being taken care of by family in the home. Both were going through the same old age issues, you know, not able to walk, not able to function, all this stuff. It turns out that the mother-in-law in India was much, much happier than the father. And this guy, I mean, this statement is crystal clear from his experience. And this guy is the Surgeon General of the United States. He's like, I forget his name. Somebody Google it. It's an Indian guy. No, not the current guy, the previous fellow. Anyway, aayega. I'll get the name. Or if not, I'll send it by chat when I remember.

But this is what he says. So the oncologist most likely knows that all the drugs he has given all his patients are complete bogus. Not bogus. They're just increasing their lifespan, but not their quality of life. So he made an informed decision not to go through the same thing himself. It's a valid decision because he understands the whole process of oncology and the treatment and chemotherapy, all that. So you have to respect his decision. It's his decision. That does not mean he committed suicide. No.

0:38:10

No. Okay. You have to define the mind. So the neurological functions of the body, you cannot, for example, you can feel your tip of the finger, you can feel it. Now, if you say feel your liver, you're unable to do that. You say feel your pancreas. It is not possible. The body is not functioning like that.

But the chakras are not part of the physical body. So it's not the mind that is perceiving the chakra. This is the problem with people. They think that the chakras are physical location in the physical body. It is bogus. Chakras are part of the subtle body. Physical body and subtle body में there is no connection. There is only a correlation. Like Nadis does not mean windpipe. Who told you that Nadis mean windpipe? No. Windpipe is a physical body thing. Nadis is a subtle body thing. You say, oh, you know, right nostril, Surya Nadi. बकवास हैं वो। Right nostril is right nostril. Surya Nadi is Surya Nadi. There is no correlation. But you have to do something on the physical body. So you do it and it activates the subtle Nadi of the Sun from the right nostril. But the right nostril is not the Surya Nadi. Like that, when you say Muladhara Chakra, it is in the subtle body. So you cannot physically do anything to take your attention to the base of the spine. It is impossible. You just simply have to have an intention that all right, something will happen. And usually that's good enough. Then it becomes more complicated. If you have done Sanyam and all that, you have to do some visualization in terms of the base of the spine. And it's just like, no, that is not how it works. Firstly, you have to train your mind to do dharana. वही तो नहीं हो रहा है। You cannot even do dharana to save your life. I mean, if your life was on stake and you had to do dharana, you'd be dead. I can guarantee you that. You cannot do dharana to save your life. Are you going to do Sanyam? What a joke. No, stop it.

So anyway, you've learned Sanyam, do it, whatever the technique, Kashi has told you, करलो। But like be real.

0:44:14

Yeah. So, you can do that. You can listen to music and do something else. Because it's two different, two totally different parts of the brain that are working. So, the music is being listened to by some other part and the activity is being done by some other part. So, this is not parallel processing. This is just processing. The problem happens when you do simultaneous activities that require the same part of the brain. For example, talking to somebody on the phone and typing an email, it's the same part of the brain that is functioning, which means you're talking, the brain is unlatching the talk and taking up the typing and unlatching and taking up the typing. It's a mess. The brain is completely fried at the end of it. So there is no such thing as multitasking. There is no such thing as multitasking.

But listening to music is a different part of the brain and washing vessels is a different part of the brain. And this can happen simultaneously. So yeah, you're still fully engaged in both activities, fully present. And it's wonderful. If you can listen to Kishore Kumar and wash dishes, that's the best way of washing dishes, I'm telling you.

[Participant] Now I can do it without guilt.

Ah, even your hand moves at the, some, when Kishore Kumar says, दिल का भवर, करे पुकार, your hand will move in that rhythm also. प्यार का राग सुनो, you actually see the raag coming from the vessels of all love. You can see that. I'm telling you by experience. I've got 30 years of experience doing that, so. Yeah.

But the problem is you cannot listen to music and do math because they use the same part of the brain. Because math, when it goes to abstract thinking, uses the same part of the brain that is listening to the music. So it is a little bit of a tricky situation there. But most other activities, mundane activities, like chopping vegetables and doing dishes, et cetera, you can totally do with music.

[Participant] But math is logic activity, right? Math is left brain activity and music is right brain activity.

Where's the logic coming from?

[Participant] Left brain, na?

Source of logic is? There you go. That's the source. That's the same source that listens to the music. The manifestation of logic is from the left brain, but where is the logic coming from?

[Participant] Okay. So is it coming from right brain only?

It's coming from the part of the brain that listens to music.

Expert musicians are extremely good mathematicians. Did you know that? They can, on the change, make a fly to the rhythm. Instead of one, three, one, three, one, three, they can do one, two, three, one, two, three, one, two, three. In the multiples of that run time, they can do it. They are extremely good at counting because they are not actually counting, it's just coming to them. You see Zakir and all, when they play, they will start with some gross rhythm and then he will make it finer, and he'll make it finer, and he'll make it finer, and he'll make it finer, and then you will not even know that it's the same rhythm, but it is totally the same rhythm. Amazing. The harmonics and all, they are just brilliant at math. They're extremely good musicians because it's the same part of the brain. I say Zakir as if he's my लंगोटिया, but Zakir Hussain, the tabla player. That guy. He's a great musician. He's just too good.

He was once on IIT Bombay stage. So he was sitting on the stage and the curtain was drawn and the announcer was saying, oh, Zakir bhai has done this and that and that, and he's going on. So Zakir, he switched on the mic and tapped it and says, open the curtain, man. He just tapped it. I said, yeah, this guy's cool. So yeah, he's a really cool guy.

0:49:14

पहले Newtonian physics, you should read it properly. Okay. Resnick and Halliday. Read Resnick and Halliday for Newtonian physics. Then start reading the Feynman lectures on physics and he will take you all the way to quantum. But leave quantum first. First, get grounded in Newtonian. Okay.

0:49:55

[SK] Neither of them, completely wrong understanding. There is no such thing as gravity force, it is simply bending of space-time. A massive object bends space-time and bent space-time tells the object how to move, that's it. This is general relativity.

There is no need to invoke dark matter, all this nonsense talk, there is no need. The only reason we are invoking dark matter is why? Because when you take general relativity and you apply it to spiral galaxies, you find that the outermost planets or the stars in the outer spiral are moving faster than they should. So, there is some other stuff going on which we don't know and since we don't know that we call it dark. Why dark? Because we don't know what the heck it is.

Why is the shape of a water droplet round? You know? Have you seen a water droplet?

[Participant 1] The water around pushes the air?

[Participant 2] Surface tension.

[SK] Exactly, it's nothing to do with pushing, it's the surface tension that drives the shape of the water molecule. And what is the thing about surface tension? It wants to minimize the energy and the energy minimized shape is a sphere, by definition, which is why everything is round, it is minimization of surface energy, that's it. There's no need to invoke all this other nonsense. We don't know about it.

Guruji talks at a totally different level, maybe it is true, but there is no physics to show it. There is no physics to show it, that there is some dark thing that is pushing everything into a circle. There is no physics to show it.

[Participant 1] No, no, no, it is not about something, some dark thing. But the space, see, I mean, what I understood, the perception of my understanding is like this. In that Mandala Vatika, what they said is the empty space has, for example, what he mentioned is one centimeter by one centimeter by one centimeter, that much small, such a small space, not even space, nothingness has a capacity to give birth to millions of millions of planets like this.

[SK] That is completely nonsense talk.

[Participant 1] But he has discussed that such kind of research is already going on now.

[SK] No, just stop it. It's a distortion. What is happening now is, what is happening now is that the zero field physics is finally being understood. So what happens is, when you go from gross, so when you are at gross length scales, there is certainty. You can accurately determine the position and the momentum of, let's say, this cup. You can totally determine it. When you go to subtle length scales, you have to give up the certainty. It becomes probability. Everything becomes probabilistic. And the equations show that there are certain combinations of variables that cannot be specified to arbitrary degrees of precision independently. This is the Heisenberg's uncertainty principle. It has nothing to do with measurement. It is just the math works out like that.

So, one of the combination of variables is position and momentum. This is one combination. There are other, there are zillions of other combinations that have the same uncertainty relationship and the uncertainty relationship is precise. It is h cross, it is h by 2 pi. It is very, very precise, the uncertainty relationship because it comes from Planck's constant.

Now, what has happened is when you go to the zero, when you go to the zero field, you can always create pairs of particles which are self-annihilation without any loss in physics. You can have electron-positron or electron anti-electron, proton anti-proton, all this anti-business happens. So, if you model this, you can see empty space full of stuff, but they are all virtual.

So, if you calculate, knowing today's physics, knowing today's physics, you come up with all these weird infinities. When you do these calculations, you come up with weird infinities, which just means that today's physics is not complete enough to describe empty space. So, when people are calculating infinities, they are interpreting it as infinite energies present in every, let's say, what you said, a small volume of space, but that is a wrong interpretation because the physics is incomplete. The physics is incomplete, that's the problem.

[Participant 1] Yeah, so that's where I'm coming. So, whatever our understanding of physics is, can it be extended in this direction, in this way?

[SK] Eventually, yeah.

[Participant 1] So, what we understood is stone getting attracted towards earth. So, instead of that, is it the other way that something is getting, the stone is being pushed by this space?

[SK] No. Not like that? No, because then you'll have infinite, I mean, come on, then for zero energy, you'll reach Mars, right? Because you'll just be pushed by empty space and finally you're on Mars. It's not going to work like that. You can generate perpetual machines by just like the stone is being pushed. Why it pushed in one direction? Why not all directions equally pushed?

[Participant 1] No, no, because, because,.

[SK] No, just stop it. This is just wrong physics. Just stop the discussion. It's completely bogus.

That's it. See, be very careful with this pseudo-interpretation of physics. Who's, who's talking about it? Is this, is he a physicist who's taking about this on Mandala Vatika? I don't think so.

[Participant 1] No, no, no. This is not about pseudo-interpretation of physics and not we, I'm, I would not call it even as some interpretation of physics. I would call it as some interpretation. It may be related to physics. Yeah, but talking about stone. And this is, see, this is about super subtle thing and it will not be, it, physics, I'm not sure whether physics can explain subtle. Physics can explain only gross, right?

[SK] No, no. Who said? Who said?

The Schrodinger equation explains every single stuff that the hydrogen atom can do. Everything. Newton's laws do not explain. So, it took 100 years It took 100 years from Newton to come to Schrodinger. Actually, no, it took 100 years come to Einstein. Then it took another 50 years to come to Schrodinger. Okay. So, it's a time thing. You cannot discount anything because the process is the same. The process is exactly the same. Looking outward and going to infinity, looking inward and going to the same infinity is the same process.

Physics is extremely rigorous. It takes a lot and lot and lot of to get even a slight validation to be done. Take the neutrino, for example. The problem of the neutrino is normally neutrino should not reach the surface of the earth. They don't have the half-life to reach it, but they still reach. Why do they reach? They reach because of the relativity effect. There is time dilation that is happening for the neutrino. When you account for the relativity effect, you can explain the neutrino. Like this, physics right now is at the scale of let's say 10 to the minus 18 length scale. We have to come to 10 to the minus 34. Eventually we will come. When you come to the 10 to the minus 34 length scale, you will start to understand all this. All these infinities will go away. The math is being developed right now. So just be patient. Maybe it will take 200 years, but eventually it will happen. It has to be a rigorous process. You cannot just do bombastic things like this. Oh, you're talking about length scales of a stone. Dude, stone is like a millimeter big. There is no quantum effect at the scale of millimeter. Just stop this loose talk.

0:57:32

Yeah, yeah, it will happen. That's normal for thoughts to come. Yeah, that's normal.
